Wedding Venue Floral Guide - Evergreen Gardens
In a grove of beautiful evergreens, in the middle of farm country in Ferndale, WA is one of the most lovely venues that we regularly work at. Their grounds and gardens are immaculately kept, there are so many sweet little spaces to retreat to, a large covered area, and so many choices for ceremony sites for weddings. Besides having wonderful owners and operators, some of my favorite things about this venue are how comfortable it is, their commitment to reducing waste, their huge decor library, and their onsite lodge and glamping tents .
I have worked at many venues on many hot summer days, and Evergreen Gardens always feels breezy and cooler by comparison under the shade of the big trees. Here are some weddings floral designs that we have created for this venue:

There are so many beautiful ceremony spots at this venue and because of the stunning backdrop and existing arbors. You can get away with using minimal florals and other decor and still have a gorgeous wedding.

August North Lawn Ceremony (Full Service Florals, Floral Budget ~$4,000)
This August wedding utilized the shady north lawn for a more comfortable ceremony for a warm summer day. I installed this arbor design in place due to its size so this would be a great design for a full-service wedding. The Aisle entry pieces are movable and were placed in the reception area after the ceremony. East Lawn Ceremony in June (A La Carte Florals, budget range ~$2,500)
The June Wedding with colorful wildflowers and lush garden blooms utilized the sunny east lawn and one of the many movable arbor options that Evergreen Garden's has in their decor library. This style with one larger floral focal on one side of the top corner and a smaller piece halfway down the opposite side is one of the best ways to get a lovely and impactful arbor floral design for an A La Carte floral service. These are simple to install with wire and zip ties if needed. This couple recused their bouquets as arrangements at the reception added a few wearables like boutonnieres and corsages and focal arrangements such as welcome table and bar arrangements. photos: Caylie Mash Photography
