Lush Early Summer Wedding Florals at Lairmont Manor

This design was perfect for this late June wedding using seasonal blooms with the beautiful Lairmont Manor (Bellingham, WA) and its' lush gardens as a backdrop. This couple dreamed of a classy backdrop with light pastels with blue, lavender, peach, blush, and white with bright green and lots of romantic, early summer blooms.

Lairmont Manor Inside Ceremony Inspiration
Hanging chair aisle bottles are my favorite options for aisle florals in a tight space or with a tight budget. They hang on the chairs, securely, with waxed twine and can be moved the reception after the ceremony. Because they have a water source, they last all day even with more delicate blooms.
Lairmont Manor Wedding Photos on the Historic Staircase
There are so many stunning and well-lit spots inside and outside at Lairmont Manor for gorgeous photos that you can treasure forever.
Beautiful Wedding at Lairmont Manor Bridal Party Photos Outside
Lairmont Manor is an award-winning historic venue and I am lucky to be just down the road and able to do so many weddings here. Unlike florists coming from Seattle or further away, my delivery and return fees will be much less because my studio is only a few miles away and its easy and fast to transport flowers and return to clean up florals and collect rentals.
Lush, colorful, yet subdued Summer Florals
For bridesmaid (or attendant) bouquets, I recommend a size that is about half of the bulk of the bride's bouquets, but with a similar style. I also ask couples to send photos and color swatches of dresses to make sure that they bouquets both coordinate and pop. The greens and pastels in these bouquets work so well with these matcha-hued chiffon bridesmaid dresses.
Stunning Garden Bridal Bouquet with texture and interesting elements
My bouquets are wide and open, with short stems so they look so lush and full in photos and you don't notice the stems. This style uses a lot more flowers than traditional bouquets, but it makes all the difference for the most noticed and photographed florals.
Bride and Bridesmaids Bouquets with organic garden-style design
Testimonial from bride: "I was very impressed with the florals and I think Laura’s work enhanced our special day with more beauty and elegance! Communication during the planning process went very smoothly and while there were many parts of our design plan that I was not able to envision, Laura’s work the day-of made me and my now husband speechless because of it’s impeccable design and beauty! Would highly recommend her services!"
Interesting and untraditional Boutonniere
I love creating boutonnieres with lots of texture and interest and I tie them simple with waxed twine and perhaps some ribbon for a simple and sustainable style. No plastic tape needed.
Broken Arbor Floral Details at Lairmont Manor
A broken arbor or floral stands for a ceremony are versatile florals because they can indoors or outdoors and can be moved to decorate the reception space, such as behind the sweetheart table or as a photobooth backdrop.
Whimsical Gold Floral Compote
These scalloped gold compotes are perfect any classy wedding design, but are low enough so guests can still see each other across the table.
Lovely reception space with silk and golden details
The reception tent at Lairmont Manor is a protected outdoor setting where you can still enjoy the gorgeous details of the venue, including the beautiful brickwork and lush gardens.
