Intimate Summer Wedding at Lummi Island
This sweet couple hosted a private wedding in a beach house on Lummi Island, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
I love designing florals for intimate celebrations like this as my design isn't limited to what ingredients I can find a lot of, but I can use special little bits of this and that from the garden to make it a truly unique piece.
This subtle and textural bouquet looks like it belongs on the edges of this grassy field where Anna (Anna Joy Photography) captured these breath-taking images.
Ingredients for the July bouquet included: garden roses, pincushion flowers, sweet peas, amaranth, phlox, feverfew, eryngium, strawflower, astilbe, feather-tail grass, dahlias, perennial baby's breath, and eucalyptus.
Lastly, some sweet words from the bride: “Laura is a real life angel. I messaged her a few months before my wedding when my original florist had to cancel. She was so easy to work with, a great communicator, and made sure she understood what I envisioned for our wedding day. She took care of everything and even delivered it out to lummi island for us.
