I'm celebrating the first day of Fall by finally sharing these gorgeous photos from a collaboration I did in the Fall of 2020.
This collaboration was the shoot that launched me into doing event florals. The photographer (and now my friend), Kaylin Pinkett reached out to see if I wanted to create some florals for an Autumn wedding collaboration at the iconic Bellingham landmark, Lairmont Manor.
Nothing is better than a stunning tablescape. I love when the florals and other elements tie together so beautifully.
I couldn't say "Yes" fast enough, though I definitely was nervous because I hadn't really done anything like this before. I didn't think I was quite ready to take on weddings at that point.
These kind of collaborations are a great way to be creative with other vendors in the wedding industry, network, and practice or try out things for the first time before doing them at an actual wedding. For me it was a trial to see if I actually wanted to pursue doing weddings and to figure out what skills I was missing in order to start booking weddings for the following year.
Another great benefit of participating in these collaborations are the beautiful photos of my work that I was able to use in my marketing materials to begin booking real weddings.

As always, every flower, seed pod, berry, and stem of foliage was grown locally and celebrates the true beauty of late September in the Northwest corner of Washington.
Lairmont Manor is a beautiful and historical event venue in Bellingham, WA, and the perfect backdrop for classy and formal celebrations.
