Antique Autumn Wedding at Semiahmoo Resort
Who said autumn florals have to be the traditional autumn colors? The assignment for this early autumn wedding was pastel, pearly, and antique-feeling petite florals, with interesting texture, movement, and botanical ingredients.
This sweet bride had a vision for beautiful, interesting, but not over-powering florals and I think this bouquet was a perfect match for her.
The setting was the beautiful Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA. This oceanside resort looks out onto a stunning Pacific Northwest harbor with so many beautiful views in every direction: mountains, beaches, waves, birds, and boats, not to mention the resort itself. It is one of those venues that doesn't need much decorating because it is already so gorgeous.
The texture, movement, and color possibilities are endless in early autumn. I loved creating this design from 100% local blooms from Floralie Farm and Wildrye as well as from my garden.
Elegant, petite, and sweet centerpieces in glass pedestals graced these reception tables.
This bride had a vision for a custom floral hair comb that tied in with the rest of the florals.
Mikaela Bradley (Hatch Photography) captured these so florals and this romantic wedding so beautifully.
