Adventure Elopements at Mt. Baker
This beautiful corner of the world has some of the most amazing vistas in the whole world. Many come from far and wide to say their vows with these majestic backdrops during these private and magical ceremonies.

One of the most popular places for these destination celebrations is the North Cascades, where you can stop by my studio (a quick stop right off Exit 250 in Bellingham, WA) to pick up your florals on the way to Mt. Baker.
With elopement floral packages starting at $250, you can get custom bouquets, wearable flowers (hair combs/crowns, boutonnieres, etc), some vase arrangements, and/or a curated bucket of matching florals. The couple shown above purchased an extra bucket to add flowers to their intimate dinner celebration (planned by Hummingbird Event Co.).
It is important to keep in mind that hiking long distances on very hot days in the summer can be not ideal conditions for fresh flowers. I do my best to watch the weather, learn about your plans, and choose hardy varieties so that your flowers will be stunning in your photos. I also include a compostable stem hydrator to help. With that said, some days are just very hot, so I always recommend getting those close-up photos of the flowers right at the beginning of your adventure.

For these adventure elopements in these pristine wild spaces, it is crucial to make sure any plant material brought in is also taken out with you. I am very careful to not include any seed pods or flowers with viable seed so that non-native plant species are not introduced into these environments accidentally.
One of my favorite things about these adventure elopements, is that I have seen hundreds of photos, and every single vista has been different. These elopement photographers are not only skilled in their art, they also know so many wonderful spots.

The half flower crown shown above was the perfect accent for this bride's vision of wildflowers in the mountains. For smaller orders like this, I most often only use what is blooming in my garden at the time of the event, so each design is very unique.
The lighting up in the mountains is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Are you doing an adventure elopement? I would love to answer any questions you have about florals for your special adventure. Email me at: humblebouquet@gmail.com
